How to find us

Nootti is located in Tampere Workers’ Hall, at the intersection of Hämeenpuisto and Hallituskatu, next to the Tampere Workers’ Theatre.  

The entrance to the museum is from the main doors of Tampere Worker’s Hall building (the address is Hämeenpuisto 28), follow the signs for “Eino Salmelaisen näyttämö” (Eino Salmelainen Stage of the Theatre). From the entrance hall, take the stairs up to floor 2½, one floor above Eino Salmelainen Stage. The guest bathrooms are located on the ground floor, one floor below the main entrance. 

Accessibility 

The accessible entrance is through the left side of the main entrance, at Hämeenpuisto 28, staircase D. The lift takes you to the 3rd floor, where a member of our staff opens the door to the museum by request. You can reach us by calling +358 10 420 9222. 

The accessible bathroom is next to the museum behind a locked door, which will be opened by a request from our museum staff. There are no thresholds in the exhibition area. The museum does not have an induction loop. Assistants are admitted free of charge. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome. 

Arriving to the museum 

The nearest bus stops are in front of Tampere Main Library Metso and along the Hämeenpuisto park. From the Metso bus stop, there is a 350-meter (about 5-minute) walk to Nootti, and from the bus stops at Hämeenpuisto (Tuulensuu C or Tuulensuu D), the distance is 50 meters. The nearest tram stop is Tuulensuu, 250 meters from the museum. You can find local transport routes using the Nysse journey planner 

Parking spaces are available along the Hämeenpuisto streets and in the parking hall P-Hämeenpuisto. The nearest taxi stand is at Kuninkaankatu 25.
